Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner- Corvallis

Corvallis, OR

Welcome!

Northwest ADHD Treatment Center is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team!

Who is a good fit for this role?

Any psychiatric nurse practitioner who has a passion for working with ADHD and other forms of neurodiversity is an excellent fit!

Candidates preferably have 2+ years experience assessing and providing medication management services to children or adults with a range of mental health concerns including ADHD, mood, and anxiety disorders.  Experience in working with late adolescents/early adults a plus.

Newly licensed providers with a desire to develop a specialty in ADHD treatment are also encouraged to apply!

Organization Background

Our clinic was founded in 2014 and is strongly-focused on differential diagnosis, behavioral interventions, and medication management. Our assessment process is extensive, including a series of 4 visits by behavioral health staff before referral to the PMHNP. The PMHNP then conducts a psychiatric assessment before making medication recommendations and providing ongoing medication management. Expected case load is 8-14 patients per day with 90 minute intakes and 30 minute follow up appointments.

Our approach is team-driven. The PMHNP will be trained to provide CBT interventions for ADHD and is encouraged to grow as a therapist with regular consultation with experienced psychologists if desired.

Please note that this position is designed to serve those physically-based in and around the state of Oregon. Presently our practice utilizes both in office and telehealth appointments. PMHNPs will be expected to work in office at least 2 days per week. Candidates must have an Oregon license and DEA, and be physically located in Oregon to render services.
